Individual New Mexico Vine & Wine Society membership is designated to one of four regional chapters, with the member's residency determining chapter designation.

Each chapter has its own slate of officers — president, secretary, treasurer — elected annually, and each chapter keeps its own membership informed about meetings and events. Subjects addressed at chapter meetings range from vineyard management, picking and crushing, and pest control to wine making and wine tasting.
